Details:
08:00 Meet and greet with ABT guide at Ayutthaya Railway station, board the train and depart for Bang Pa-In. On arrival at Bang Pa-In visit Wat Chumphon Nikayaram, an historic royal temple with seven beautiful Buddha images and two twelve-indented stupas dating back to the beginning of the late Ayutthaya period.
Finally arriving at the Summer Palace, take a guided tour of this magnificent complex with one of our experienced English-speaking guides. Afterwards visit Wat Nivet, the only temple in Thailand built in the style of a Christian church. Then take a long-tail boat back up the Chao Phraya River to Ayutthaya to complete a journey that leaves but a very small carbon footprint.
To avoid our boats having to make journeys without any passengers, this tour also operates in the opposite direction in afternoon, departing at 13:00.
The duration of the tour is about 4½ hours in either direction.
All prices are per person in Thai Baht.
