A chance to discover the main Thailand attractions, by taking the remarkable journey with a small group. On our way, you will experiance the local way of living, not being on the bused tour. Starting from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, home of the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, and Ayutthaya the former capital before heading to Chiang Mai for many activities and trekking in Mae Tang area provides a beautiful blend of forest and cultivated land. We can organise a highlight program staying in small relatively untouched villages. The trail is difficult but not back breaking ending with a relaxed journey on elephants and bamboo rafts.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Bangkok
Experience the sights and sounds of Bangkok on your arrival day.

Day 2-3 : Kanchanaburi
Exploring Bangkok, the City of Angels, by paying a visit to Wat Po, the Reclining Buddha temple, the home of Thai massage. It houses the magnificent reclining Buddha. Proceed to Kanchanaburi, experience the trail of the Death Railway and the bridge.

Day 4-5 : Ayutthaya
Stay with the local family in the remote country side. Before cycling in the historical park and the world heritage site of Ayutthaya.

Day 6-7 : Chiang Mai
Once again, go biking to the ancient City of Chiang Mai. And enjoy the many activities on offer. As well as a visit to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the most auspicious temple in the north. Enjoy Kantok dinner, the traditional northern style welcome dinner.

Day 8-11 : Trekking
In Chiang Dao and Mae Taeng area. Experience the Black Lahu, Red Lahu and Karen hill tribe cultures and the way of life by visiting and staying at their villages.

Day 12 : Chiang Mai
Free time in Chiang Mai again for the relaxing activities after hard work in the hills, before heading back to Bangkok by overnight train.

Day 13 : Bangkok
Arrive Bangkok early in the morning safe and sound, and discover the colorful city on your own. Farewell dinner after being together for 2 weeks.

Day 14 : Departure day
