Trekking in Mae Tang area provides a beautiful blend of forest and cultivated land. We can organise a memorable program staying in small relatively untouched villages. The trails if difficult but not back breaking ending with a relaxed journey on elephants and bamboo rafts.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Bangkok
Experience the sights and sounds of Bangkok on your arrival day.

Day 2 : Overnight Train
Exploring Bangkok, the City of Angles, by paying a visit at Wat Po, the Reclining Buddha temple, the home of Thai massage. It houses the magnificant reclining buddha. Evening, board the 2nd class overnight sleeper (air-con) train.

Day 3 : Chiang Mai
Free time in Chiang Mai to enjoy the many activities on offer. As well as a visit to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the most auspicious temple in the north.

Day 4-6 : Trekking
In Chiang Dao area Experience the Black Lahu and Karen hill tribe cultures and the way of life by staying at their villages.

Day 7 : Chiang Mai
Free time in Chiang Mai again for the relaxing activities. Before heading back Bangkok by overnight train.

Day 8 : Bangkok
Arrive Bangkok early in the morning safe and sound on your departure day.
